Wrigleyville Home Stand

Sheffield & Waveland

The Cubs are back in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago this weekend to take a swing (haha) at baseball immortality. My condo is a few blocks away from the field and I'm looking forward to being 'present in the moment,' if only from afar (note the 'Bleachers' center field entrance above). Ticket prices are ridiculous so the game will most likely be broadcasted via old school radio waves for me. That's cool. Really cool.

Wrigley Field Reno

Wrigley Field Reno in Wrigleyville neighborhood

A few months back I published a post on the Houses.com Blog that touched on the future of Wrigleyville, along with some other neighborhood housing stats.  Pictured above is a snap shot of the current renovation (looking at left-center field from Clark & Waveland exterior perspective) after they ripped out the bleachers. Kind of appropriate on such a cold chilly day (wind chill -2 on November 18th. Geez..)
